This week marks a high holiday on the small business annual calendar. It’s the biggest celebrations for small businesses in the U.S. It’s National Small Business Week! All over the country, there will be meetups, workshops, Tweetchats, and free events to help business owners like you launch or grow your business.
What’s National Small Business Week All About?
If you’re a new entrepreneur, you might not know about Small Business Week. In 1963, President Kennedy signed a proclamation announcing a dedicated week to celebrate and assist small businesses. Ever since then, it has grown in size and scope. Many events are now hosted online and retail stores. Brands targeting small businesses such as Microsoft stores are hosting live events in their retail locations to demonstrate their latest products and service check this link to find a Microsoft event near you.
The SBA or Small Business Administration’s is hosting live events in Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA, Phoenix, AZ, Denver, Colorado, and San Jose, CA. Check out the Small Business Week Webpage for details. But there are two special online events that I want you to mark your calendar.
